Royal Holloway University of London has roots that date back to the 19th century, before becoming what we know it as now in 1985.
It’s a campus uni set among 135 acres of parkland in Surrey, on the outskirts of London. The focal point of the campus and the university is the stunning Founder’s Building, unveiled by Queen Victoria in 1886, based on a French chateau and encircling the grounds like a castle.
With central London a 40-minute train ride away, the country’s capital is easily accessible. As such, you can enjoy everything the city has to offer, including its world-famous nightlife, theatre district, music venues and museums.
Slightly closer to home, you’ll find the towns of Egham, Staines-upon-Thames, Windsor and Richmond, all of which have shopping opportunities, as well as places to eat and drink.
The campus itself is full of facilities to keep you entertained and aid your studies. A modern library, reading room and computer centre are great places to study, while the Student’s Union hosts regular events and parties.
You’re also well situated near the M25, meaning motorway access is easy, and Heathrow Airport is just seven miles away.
