Great support, counseling and a hotline. In my programme we have a team of uni employees that work to support us and coffee catch ups bi-weekly.

Great union, many resources for post grads as well as under grads. I am involved in two organizations despite being very busy with my coursework. They largely support students

City life is great, Glasgow is a small city so it’s easy to manage. The people are incredibly friendly and there is always something fun and unique for all types going on.

There are over 200 clubs and societies, meaning there is something for everyone to join.

I like most that the course prepares me for real world work. I like least amount of group work it contains.

Career services are excellent. There are constantly events on about how to improve/prepare for the work force. Companies often come to the university for events so students can learn more about the company. There is more than one career fair, which multiple companies attend. In my programme, we have a specific career service worker that is in charge of my section that works personally with us to help us be the best we can be. Also every single course is less theory, but mostly practical. After all, Strathclyde’s motto is “place of useful learning.”

Why would you study anywhere else especially as strathclyde uni has everything you need. It has a great union, a good campus, and yummy cafés etc. no need to go elsewhere. Keep up the good work strathy
